Producing
The clock hits 06:00:04.
Roll open. Play and track video. Open mics. Cue talent. It's showtime. Adrenaline rushes through my veins. Standby, remote. Sting to 2-channel with anchors and reporter. I watch my director orchestrate my symphony of words, sounds, video and graphics. Track remote, standby to roll package. Track and roll package. It's exhilarating. And we're only a minute thirty into the hour long newscast. Producing is a unique artform. Few professions allow for creative use of words, video, graphics and sound simultaneously. Click the links on the right for examples of my recent work at KCRA-TV in Sacramento, CA. I'm currently residing in Chicago and open to any professional opportunities.
